I don’t think men should be nice teddy bears who just do what they do and do it well. I think they should be more. I think they should be Warriors. Against the flesh, against the Enemy. So, that should tell you my answer.
No!!! Read the article on Chuck Liddell. They describe him as a big teddy bear who just happens to be good at fighting. I meant Warriors as in men with strength where it counts. Men who battle their own flesh and the Enemy. I love that Eric Liddell acknowledged both his talent and his calling. “I believe God made me for a purpose…for China. But He also made me fast.”(And you can’t beat a scottish accent.)Read my first comment again and see if it makes more sense. And check out the time of day it was posted. p.s. I lost all respect for Chuck when I read the part about his two children, by two different women, neither of whom he has felt compelled to marry. Boom. Out the door. That’s not what real men do.
