Two Truths and a Lie

Let’s play a quick game–two of the statements below are true, and one is false.  See if you can figure out which is a lie…

1. I am wearing a pink t-shirt right now.
2. I went to bed at eight-thirty this morning, and slept till noon.
3. I am one foxy-looking fellow today.

As you make your guesses, remember: be kind.

  1. be kind? when YOU’RE the one who put #3 as an option? and how would i know if you’re the type of guy would even be caught dead in pink.I will say that if the last one is true, I’m impressed. Not because you look so great, but because most people are afraid to say if they do. And, hey–sometimes it’s the truth! *grin*

  2. 8:30??? i really hope that’s the lie… and the truth better be that you got more sleep than a measly three hours. *sigh* poor davio… working so hard…
if not, the answer has to be 1… because the third is always true! *wink*
btw- so nice to see your name back on the top of my subscription list! *smile*

  3. “You’ve a poet-soul, child…”Yes, they are magic. They make me think of grandparents and aunts and uncles, warm summer nights in Austin, being little enough to think they’re big, and seeing them out the window as I fall asleep at Grandma’s. They are magic because they have the ablilty to transport us.

  4. It is almost mean of you to leave yourself open for such easy mockery.  I suppose I ought to reply that is not easy to give an impromptu answer to a question about appearances; that tastes differ; that beauty is of little consequence, or something of that sort (as Jane says to Mr. Rochester.)  Actually, I think I’d better not make an answer to your game since I need to ask a favor of you.  Will you send me your sister’s e-mail address when you get a chance? Thanks.
Oh, and by the way, just a tip, when you play this game, you’re actually supposed to write two truths.
