Hey, gang. Now that my xanga page has become little more than brief news updates (smile), I thought I’d pass along that we’ll be having a Christmas movie night next Sunday evening. Should be festive! We’ll try to watch two flicks, if we can…the options for the movies are as follows:
1. It’s a Wonderful Life
2. The Muppet Christmas Carol
3. The Bells of St. Mary’s (which I’ve never seen)
4. Elf
5. A Christmas Story
There are a few other Christmas movies out there, so why don’t you all pick the two you’d like to see and leave me a comment here or text me (smile)…
Andrew Peterson’s album “Behold the Lamb of God” is my favorite album of all times. I’ve probably listened to it 50+ times since I bought it last year.

will it truly be a three exclamation point movie night ??? not sure about that one…still if i dare make it, i vote for elf and the bells because i have seen neither…the presence of salma hayek would make it a four exclamation point movie night

muppet christmas carol is freaking awesome. i’d be there if it weren’t over ten hours away.one thing that i always appreciate about comments that you leave and posts that you write is the spirit of humility and gentleness that you bring to a subject. i haven’t had time to think over and process your theory on democracy etc. but i’m thankful for the idea and the spirit behind it.

I didn’t really realize how that might read, as far as feeling alone. Especially to someone who values and lives out God’s principles on hospitality to the point you do. Know this, my man…I love you like the taller, thinner, younger brother I never had. So I’m sorry that hurt you. The feelings I felt were a combination of the movie content causing me to think the way I did and a slowly growing aversion to group activity in general and a feeling of distance from that one in particular. Not sure I can fully explain it, but I think you understand…I remember a few times in the past when you yourself didn’t crave the group dynamic (I am laughing internally here)…
I did feel better when the X-men broke out, though…simulated violence…the great human binder
